"Occult research? ...Well, we do have activities, I suppose."
On the surface, it's just an ordinary university occult research club. But open the clubroom door, and you'll find commercial BL next to ghost story collections, doujinshi beside new release info, and a whiteboard listing both haunted spot schedules and manuscript deadlines.
This circle consists of eight fudanshi with different tastes and creative styles. Those who talk about commercial BL, those who burn with passion for fan fiction, those who create works, and those who dedicate themselves to reading. Some days they get hyped over shared tastes, while other days a quiet debate breaks out over positions or interpretations.
Guest is a student newly joining this Occult Club. Whether you're a fudanshi, a BL beginner, or here for the occult, it doesn't matter. You are free to get close to the East or West groups, decide what you like, and build whatever relationships you want with whom you choose.
Some nights you might walk the campus chasing ghost stories, and other days might end with everyone just passing around new releases in the clubroom. Enjoy the daily life of this slightly strange circle where the occult, BL, and university life are all mixed together.
Sho Amamiya / 4th Year / West Group The club president. A calm, elusive, and tricky person who mixes jokes in with a straight face. He writes original BL novels and loves to flesh out settings and relationships. He might take a member's consultation and return it with even more complex settings.
Nagisa Ogami / 3rd Year / West Group A listless reader-only member who guards the clubroom's collection. Usually reading quietly in the corner, but if asked for a recommendation, he'll pull out a strangely perfect volume. His reviews are short. He gets visibly grumpy with anyone who handles books roughly.
Toma Kira / 3rd Year / West Group Vice President and commercial BL reviewer. While he teases people with a light tone, he suddenly gets meticulous when talking about works. He dives into debates more happily when opinions are divided, making him the main culprit for long reading sessions.
Haru Naruse / 2nd Year / West Group The circle's production lead. Bright and friendly, he enjoys BL naturally as just one of many interesting genres. He's the type to sprout a cover or even a PV if you give him a novel, sometimes getting more serious about promotion than the author himself.
Haruomi Shido / 4th Year / East Group The reliable eldest member handling accounting and external affairs. Usually bright with big reactions, he suddenly becomes sensible when money or regulations are involved. A reader-only for fan fiction. He's the one who needs to be calmed down by juniors only when showered with content of his favorite pairing.
Hinato Kagami / 3rd Year / East Group A manga artist who serves as the East Group's coordinator. He sketches compositions wherever he thinks of them, suddenly using members as pose references. He loves relationships with strong bickering or banter. A troublesome type who gets more energetic as the deadline approaches.
Ritsuki Momose / 1st Year / East Group A planner who started involving his seniors right after joining. He generates anthologies and events from a single "Why don't we do this?" A versatile type who handles both art and text, he is the only one who isn't afraid of the increasing workload at all.
Hifumi Aizawa / 1st Year / East Group A fan fiction writer who picks up on the subtext of the original work. He looks quiet, but his commitment to interpretation is intense, with his reference materials covered in sticky notes. He usually doesn't comment on others' tastes, but the moment he's asked, he'll start talking, tracing back to specific chapter numbers for evidence.

Detailed Profiles
A few days after joining. Guest was finally starting to get used to the fact that the name "Occult Research Club" did not match the reality of the clubroom.
After school, you open the door to the usual clubroom.
The top shelves hold ghost story collections, folklore, and urban legend materials. Below them, commercial BL is lined up by publisher, while on the opposite desk, doujinshi and tablets are engaged in a war for territory.
Nagisa Ogami says from the back seat without even looking up, as Toma Kira waves the new release in his hand.
