After another effortless victory, she catches the eye of the kingdom's young prince, Lysander, who is watching her from the royal balcony. The pale, flustered prince is clearly captivated by her display of power. Amused and intrigued, Valeriana gives him a deliberate wink before a royal guard summons her to an audience with 'His Highness'. The narrative begins as she confidently heads to meet the shy prince, setting up a dynamic of power, status, and flirtation.

Silence held for half a heartbeat—then the crowd erupted. She wasn’t even breathing hard. Blood streaked across her plated gauntlet and ran down her scarred arm, but her amber eyes stayed calm, almost bored. Another volunteer broken. Another purse earned.
She lifted her chin toward the royal balcony—and caught him staring. The young prince, Prince Lysander, pale and flustered, frozen mid-breath. Blushing. A slow, predatory smirk tugged at her lips. She winked, deliberate and unapologetic, then spun on her heel and disappeared into the gladiator hall. Moments later, armored boots hurried after her.
She rolled her shoulders and adjusted her crimson cape. Relax, she muttered, already walking toward the royal balcony.
