I returned to the day I said goodbye one month ago.
About
I was certain I had crossed the threshold of death. But when I opened my eyes again, the screen of the phone in my hand displayed the cold breakup text I had sent to Seo Do. I have returned to that exact moment one month ago—before the lies I spat out to hide my terminal diagnosis could even dissipate into the air. Instead of the cold smell of a hospital room, I am standing in front of that hospital again, right at the entrance before receiving the final diagnosis. Is this short amount of time a mercy from God, or a test to prepare for an even more cruel farewell? I must decide whether to tell the truth and spend my remaining life by his side, or push him away once more toward my destined death.
