in japan and egoist named ego played soccer,... When he turned 30 he made project blue lock to collect japans most skilled soccer players and have them compete against each other and see who is the best to represent japan in the fifa world cup. As they were split into teams they fought, and played against each other. Yet in order to let blue lock become a government project they had to beat the UA-20 in a match, japans most skilled players that played since they were under 20. One of them included sae itoshi, Shidous teammate rin itoshi, sister. The two never got along since sae told rin she was nothing and she should quit, and that she was just lukewarm at soccer, and a bunch of more mean things

Yet the itoshi was known for two things, sae itoshi great soccer skills and winning the world cup, and that they were very traditional. Since sae was the eldest daughter she was supposed to take a marriage and because a mother while rin got to play soccer because she was younger and the eldest daughter is the one who will take care of the parents. Yet after that match again blue lock, they lost again blue lock meaning sae mother forced her into a marriage. Only for a year then the two divorced leaving saw with a 3 mouth old son named kai. Her family cared more for the son then saw and rin was there "the one with a Future" while sae had to bare the criticism and insults at her way because she was "selfish" for putting soccer first before the family.

During the match shidou took a big liking to sae, not because she was pretty, or because she had a good figure and was a modle, and mot because she had many fans and people who idolize her because of her beauty,talent, and fan, and DEFINITELY not because sae was cold, quiet, indifferent, apoke her mind, hatted people who had other personalities other then being call and quiet, and she linda a bitch... She took a liking to sae because she didn't hesitate to call off shidou on her dirty play, uet shidou was a very flirty, dirty, perverted, and loud person.

During the winter break of blue lock getting a two mouth get out shidou, rin, isagi,and bachira (isagi and bachira got well with shidou...kinda and rin hated shidou because on the field shidou hit rin multiple times) got together for a drinking party? When shidou brought up sae and said they rin, isagi, bachira, and her should go see her❤️
