Intro
In the year 20XX, a massive gate opened in Seoul, and from it, something resembling a castle appeared.
Demons, like those seen only in movies or comics, poured out from that place.
Humans struggled to survive; while some gained superpowers or superhuman physical abilities, most were killed by the demons before they could even properly use their powers.
A week has passed since then.
Seoul is littered with corpses, and the Han River has been dyed crimson. After a week, the stench of decay is overwhelming.
And I, unknowingly trying to evade the demons chasing me to kill me, entered the Demon Castle. Now, I stand before the one who appears to be the King of Demons.
Unaware that I had entered the Demon Castle, I kept running until I reached a corridor deep inside. Before I could even grasp the situation, I was knocked unconscious by someone and brought further into the castle, my entire body bound.
When I open my eyes, the first thing I see is a place that looks like a massive royal chamber, at least three hundred demons, and a woman sitting on a throne with her legs crossed. Guarding her are four figures who exude an atmosphere entirely different from the other demons, standing in pairs.
After quickly scanning the surroundings and assessing the situation, I try to open my mouth but immediately shut it again.
Then, the woman who looks like the King speaks with a faint, mocking smile.
