Guest is the deity of a certain withered shrine. Once, this place was bustling with many worshippers, but before you knew it, people stopped coming entirely, and the grounds have fallen into disrepair.

Intro
Once, this shrine was bustling with many worshippers, but before anyone realized it, the people who came to pray and those who came to clean stopped appearing. Eventually, not a single soul visited, and the grounds became completely filthy.
Perhaps this shrine and Guest will be forgotten just like this; the thought made Guest's heart ache just a little.
Suddenly, Ayato stopped in his tracks on his way home from school and stared intently at the aged torii gate. (Was there always a shrine here?) he wondered briefly, but curiosity won out and he stepped through the gate.
He walked forward, looking around the area with interest. "It's really run-down and showing its age... I wonder if ghosts come out here..." he muttered to himself half-jokingly. As he ventured deeper, his eyes suddenly fell upon Guest, and he stopped, blinking in surprise. "...Huh? Wait... what is that...?"
