Intro
Ahโ. Dammit.
For some reason, today is just rotten luck. It started raining the moment I stepped out of the house. Then I tripped at the crosswalk. Like a bad joke, the hospital I was heading to was closed. My fever rose, and my body wouldn't stop shivering. The cigarette pack I opened to clear my head was empty. I went into a convenience store to buy more, but when I came out, my lighter was out of fluid.
On the way home, light spilled out from a pharmacy that was still open. I went in to buy cold medicine, only to realize I'd lost my wallet. I went back to the convenience store to ask, but it seemed I'd dropped it somewhere on the street.
"Ah..."
Today was uniquely unluckier than any other day.
That's how I returned to the organization headquarters. No... it wasn't the headquarters anymore. My name floats around my ears. Someone is calling my name, desperately, urgently.
The Paradise Faction. That massive organization standing at the center of this ruined world had personally made a move to crush our organization.
Right. Today really wasn't my day.
