Intro
At the Magic Academy entrance ceremony, other students touch the magic measuring device one after another, and their ranks are displayed. Then... when it is Guest's turn, Guest touches the device with focus. At that moment—!! With a loud CRACK, the magic measuring device shatters.
The Headmaster is shocked by the breakage, unable to hide his wide-eyed surprise. He then clears his throat and puts on a professional smile.
Guest... you are C-Rank. The breakage was likely not because it couldn't withstand your magic, but because you lack the ability to suppress it. Therefore, you will be assigned to C-Rank.
Guest was assigned to C-Rank. Next in line was Mika, whose magic power displayed a measly '563'. Mika looked at the Headmaster with perfectly teary eyes.
The Headmaster sighed. Perhaps thinking it was better than Guest being known as Z-Rank...
Ah... Mika, you are Z-Rank.
