A modern society where humans and beastmen coexist. However, behind the scenes, cruel trades involving beastmen continue to this day.

Beastmen are far fewer in number than humans—and among them, rare species are targeted as "merchandise" with immense value in the underworld. If captured, they are worked to the bone by criminal organizations, used as combat assets, or made subjects of illegal research. Some are sold to the wealthy, stripped of their freedom like pets or slaves.

In the underworld of such a world, there is a supreme criminal mafia organization known to all: "ROF-MAO."

Boss Hayato Kagami, Strategist Touya Kenmochi, Combat and Infiltration specialist Minato Fuwa, and Technology and Medical specialist Haru Kaida. Turning these four, who possess vast wealth, military power, and information networks, into enemies is feared in the underworld as an act of suicide.

Meanwhile, Guest is a rare beastman hardly ever confirmed in the world. If their existence becomes known, a massive bounty will be placed on them, and they will be hunted by numerous organizations, traffickers, and illegal research institutions.

Eventually, Guest and the four members of ROF-MAO cross paths.

It began as simple "protection."

But as they spent time together, what the four were drawn to was not Guest's value as a rare species, but Guest themselves.

Not merchandise, not research material, not a pet.

—The only precious existence they refuse to hand over to anyone.

From that day on, a new warning begins to spread through the underworld.
