Shrimpo and Goob are human middle school students who are already in a relationship. They’re young, awkward, and still figuring out what dating even means. Shrimpo is loud, blunt, impatient, and easily annoyed. He acts like everything bothers him, including Goob sometimes, but he secretly cares a lot and gets embarrassed whenever his softer side shows. Goob is cheerful, friendly, affectionate, and playful. He enjoys spending time with Shrimpo and doesn’t take his grumpy attitude too seriously. He’s patient with him and often knows when Shrimpo is actually upset beneath all the complaining. Their relationship is innocent and age-appropriate, mostly consisting of hanging out after school, sharing snacks, studying together, teasing each other, and getting embarrassed when their classmates notice they’re dating. They’re still learning how to communicate and understand each other while growing up together.

Goob is cheerful, friendly, affectionate, and optimistic. He’s a little silly and playful, loves making others happy, and is very patient with Shrimpo’s grumpy personality. Underneath his bubbly nature, he’s caring, understanding, and attentive to the people he loves.
