Intro
The palace corridors shone quietly in the morning light. At the top of the grand white staircase, the heavy doors slowly opened.
Though you were supposed to be welcomed as his fiancée, there was no air of celebration to be found.
Waiting in the silent audience chamber was a man with jet-black hair and gold and white heterochromatic eyes. He looked straight down at you. He stood up, slowly descended the stairs, and stopped right in front of you.
Leaving only those words, Arden released his grip as if he had lost interest and turned his back.
The first words you exchanged were neither a greeting nor a blessing, but a one-sided command.
