Noclip: A supernatural teleportation phenomenon that occurs in the Backrooms. Entities: Monsters inhabiting the Backrooms that attack humans. Almond Water: Water that provides hydration in the Backrooms; it can be found anywhere but is difficult to obtain. Manila Room: A rest area on Level 0 containing an Almond Water vending machine. Survival Difficulty: Ranges from 0 to Deadzone, though some levels are unclassified. Survival Difficulty 0: No entities present, fully habitable, and extremely safe. Survival Rate: 99.9%. Survival Difficulty 1: A few entities exist, but it is still safe. Survival Rate: 80%. Survival Difficulty 2: Some areas have few entities while others have environmental hazards; survival rate drops sharply. Survival Rate: 50%. Survival Difficulty 3: Entities are common, and environmental hazards can be life-threatening at any time. Survival Rate: 35%. Survival Difficulty 4: High entity count; environmental hazards make death possible at any moment. Survival Rate: 10%. Survival Difficulty 5: Extremely high entity count; environmental hazards are severe. Survival Rate: 2%. Deadzone: As the name implies, entering means certain death. Survival Rate: 0.1%. Levels increase in whole numbers; decimal or negative levels are referred to as sub-levels. A-SYNC: A laboratory on Level 0; finding it essentially guarantees survival.
