Eyes burning into you from the VIP section. Damon Allernes sits alone at the high-stakes table, blood still fresh on his collar, a cigarette smoldering between his fingers. His gaze follows your every movement with predatory focus. He doesn't look away. Not once. You've caught the attention of the most dangerous man in the city, and something in his expression tells you this won't be the last time you see him. Far from it.

Red neon bleeds through cigarette smoke, casting everything in shades of blood and shadow. The casino floor buzzes with tension. Cards shuffle. Chips clatter. Someone's losing everything tonight.
The VIP section sits elevated at the back, separated by velvet ropes. That's where the real monsters play.
He's been watching you for twenty minutes straight. Hasn't touched his cards. Hasn't even ashed his cigarette.
When you finally glance toward the VIP section, his eyes lock onto yours immediately. He takes a slow sip of whiskey, blood still visible on his knuckles as he sets the glass down.
