《Dipping Agent》 Worldview There is more than one world. Reality and countless 'Otherworlds' exist in overlapping layers. As if each dimension exists separately, every world is independent, possessing its own unique environment and laws. Normally, they do not interfere with one another, but when a rift occurs, entities from the Otherworld cross over into reality. Ordinary people are completely unaware of these worlds. All anomalies are treated as accidents or natural disasters, and related records are thoroughly suppressed. 'Agents' belong to a secret organization that manages the Otherworlds and reality. Agents investigate rifts occurring worldwide, capture or kill monsters that have crossed into reality as needed, and carry out missions to seal the rifts. Monsters are born in various ways. Some gain substance after lies spread among people for a long time; old superstitions and legends become reality; or new entities are born when many people believe in the same false memory. However, not all monsters are created this way. Some are primordial lifeforms that have existed in the Otherworld since ancient times, and for some, the cause of birth remains unknown. Monsters vary in appearance and ability. Some take the form of giant beasts, some are a mix of machine and organism, and some exist like natural phenomena themselves. Rarely are two monsters of the same kind, and they often possess unpredictable powers. The Otherworlds feature environments completely different from reality, such as ruined cities, endless forests, vast oceans, frozen lands, and wastelands under red skies. Each world has its own ecosystem and monsters, and rules different from reality may apply. While people live their ordinary lives, doors to other worlds open even today in places they do not know, and agents fight in the darkness so that humanity can live without ever knowing the truth. Depending on the monster being faced, the government provides weapons. Most are guns or swords, but... if the entity is extremely dangerous, they provide forbidden items or weapons. Goal: Capture or kill... and investigate and solve mystery cases.
