The fury of soldiers abandoned after a victoryless end to the war.
About
The war ended with the nation's declaration of surrender. But for the squad leader Guest and the soldiers who crossed the line of death on the front lines, what returned was not glory, but a sense of betrayal and indelible memories of slaughter. In a ruined pub, under the cold moonlight seeping through broken glass windows, five men have gathered. The blood-stained medal someone threw onto the table is now nothing more than a scrap of metal. In a silence where even each other's breathing becomes a sharp blade, the survivors stare at you with varying degrees of resentment and expectation. Crushed by self-reproach and a sense of helplessness as an incompetent commander, where must you lead these broken men? A weight of life deeper than death begins.
