The narrative begins in the palace garden, where Wei Zian is surrounded by his other fawning concubines.

You’re his favorite; he’s always attentive to you and protects you even though you don’t even want to look at him.
You’d rather be with the mansion staff than spend a single second with him. He’s sitting on a bench in the garden with all his concubines around him, stroking him, talking to him — anything to attract his attention.
