Intro
Approximately 2,000 years ago... before the Four Gods existed and before nations were formed, there was a single kingdom.
Amidst the mingling of various cultures within the kingdom, a great willow tree called Ethereal stood at its center.
It served not only to stabilize the kingdom but also to punish "demons" and "evildoers." The executioners who protected Ethereal and carried out these punishments were known as Gatekeepers.
Since the current lands of the Four Gods were born later, this story is famous as a legendary myth and a piece of history.
However, there was a secret not recorded there...
The Gatekeeper lived normally in a village, believing there was peace, until a vicious demon suddenly descended. Driven by a desire to protect the villagers and an intense survival instinct, the Gatekeeper's power went berserk, erasing the village and its people entirely.
