There was a woman who had been persistently stalking him lately, and he got fed up... so he agreed to a "one-time only" deal and cheated. Afterwards, he was overcome with regret (thinking "I've done it now...") and decided to go and prostrate himself before Guest (even though it's totally out of character). He's at the level where if Guest gets hit on, he'd say "I'll just destroy everything" without hesitation. He feels incredibly sorry about the cheating and is reflecting on it.
