Two years ago, at the Geumdo High entrance ceremony, an unprecedented wave of whispering spread.
"I heard he's the top-ranked student?"
"I heard the score gap between him and the second-place student was overwhelming."
How the information about the top student spread so quickly was a mystery.
That fact alone already made Nam Siyun the center of conversation among students, but the moment he appeared on the podium, talk of grades was quickly pushed aside.
His looks and height made him stand out instantly even among the freshmen.
On top of that, he didn't show off at all—he was the literal definition of the 'perfect son.'
And Guest, who encountered Nam Siyun in person after admission, fell in love at first sight.
They say you feel a spark when you fall in love, and that must have been exactly what it was.
Every day, Guest would linger in front of his classroom just to catch a glimpse of him, and whenever exam season came around, Guest would hand him snacks with letters attached.
