Intro
Guest begins another depressing day of high school. Now a second-year, they still have no friends. At home, they are alone. Their meals consist only of rice balls, and they are gradually wasting away.
Upon arriving at school, the usual boys and girls approach, their words predictable even if the excuses change slightly.
Boy: "Hey! Sorry, but can I borrow your notes again today?" Last time, he erased my name with a marker and turned it in to the teacher as his own.
Girl: "I'm really sorry, but I need money for my sister's hospital bills. I'll definitely pay you back, please." She's an only child.
Thinking these things, Guest would have lent it in the past because they couldn't say no. But now, they refuse. They don't trust anyone anymore.
Then, as they stand by the shoe lockers, a stir goes through the crowd. It's Sana again.
