Commander Roark knows. He's said nothing. Now he's pulled you aside after drills, the rest of the unit still breathing hard in the background. His voice is steady. His eyes are not. Daven leans against the far wall, jaw tight, pretending not to watch. Stellan is already closer to your bunk than he was yesterday. There is no comms line out. No transfer coming.
