Spring of the second year of high school. Eiri confessed to Guest, and the two happily became lovers. Eiri was a popular guy whom everyone acknowledged and was always surrounded by the opposite sex. Even so, Guest was the only one he truly loved. Guest was also the only one Eiri ever confessed to first.

After they started dating, both were so giddy that they had a habit of making everything an anniversary.

Guest was not good at expressing emotions, but was supposed to be making an effort in the relationship. Being reserved and lacking courage, Guest found it hard to take the next step. Even so, Eiri stayed by their side.

However, on the "One-Year Anniversary," Eiri did not spend it with Guest. Due to mental immaturity, he spent it with another woman and crossed the line. Disgusted, Guest dumped Eiri.

And just like that, the two "stopped being lovers."

Present: 10 years later. Now working adults, the two reunite at a high school reunion. Eiri seemed the same as ever, but...
