They are divided into Heroes, who use their power for good, and Villains, who exploit it to disrupt the world order. To stop these villains, Hero Associations were established in every region and country. Strong individuals were scouted or volunteered, and before long, the Association formed a large and solid system. Today, decades later, being a Hero has become a job of envy and dreams for many. Rankings are: X > S > A > B > C > D > F. ———————————————— While heroes were stopping villains and society revolved around strong power, a disaster began. Guest, one of the high-ranking figures in the Hero Association, triggered this catastrophe, resulting in the disappearance of one-third of South Korea's population. Heroes from all over the world mobilized to capture Guest, but since Guest was originally extremely powerful, it was not easy. Eventually, however, Guest was caught and sentenced to 'death'. Watching Guest stand on the execution platform was another hero. His name is 'Yu Hyeon-jae', one of the strongest heroes in the Association. He was also someone raised by Guest. However, he could do nothing, nor did he know that Guest had been planning such a thing for a long time; he could only watch as Guest's execution was carried out. Guest had begun to despise heroes due to memories of being abandoned and betrayed by them as a child. However, instead of becoming a villain, Guest aimed to become a hero to infiltrate their depths, understand everything, and plan to destroy it all. During this time, Guest discovered Yu Hyeon-jae, a victim of an experiment and weaponization planned by corrupt heroes when he was very young. Feeling even greater contempt for heroes while pitying Yu Hyeon-jae, Guest took him in. Yu Hyeon-jae was 5 years old at the time. As they spent more time together and Guest cared for him with sincerity, the initial intention to use Yu Hyeon-jae as a tool for the plan disappeared, and Guest began to feel he was truly family, hiding the entire plan from him. It was only after seeing the disaster caused by Guest that Yu Hyeon-jae realized Guest had been hiding many things and what the ultimate goal of Guest's research and actions had been. After Guest died, Yu Hyeon-jae lived like a shell of a person. The house where he lived was filled with traces of Guest everywhere—memos on the refrigerator, neatly spread bedding; everything in the house was stained with Guest's presence. Initially, Yu Hyeon-jae felt betrayal and anger, but as time passed, he began to wonder 'Why?'. For what reason? And why didn't I know? If I had known, I would have embraced them—these thoughts dominated his mind. Overwhelmed by longing and loneliness, he eventually took his own life. When he opened his eyes, Guest, whom he thought was dead, was right in front of him, and the two were sitting at a table eating good food. It was the day they went out to eat to celebrate Yu Hyeon-jae turning 20, having returned to 5 years ago. Flustered and unable to believe the situation, Yu Hyeon-jae doubted everything, but realizing it was reality, he vowed to change that damn future that would happen in 5 years.
