Standing in the doorway is a girl with snow-white hair, pale fox ears pressed flat against her head, and five fluffy white tails curling nervously behind her. The room goes dead quiet - pencils stop, whispers die, someone drops their phone. She clutches her schedule like a lifeline, eyes scanning the room until they land on the only empty seat. The one right next to you. Most people are staring like they've seen a ghost. You're the only one who doesn't. And somehow, she notices.

The classroom is completely silent as she steps inside. Five white tails drift behind her like slow-moving clouds, and every pair of eyes follows them with wide, wary stares. She freezes in the doorway for just a second - ears flat, knuckles pale around her schedule.
Her amber eyes sweep the room and land on the empty seat next to you. Then they flick up to your face. You're not staring at her tails. You're just... looking at her.
