As you wander past the shops, one storefront catches your eye: Comic Haven. The display window is packed with vintage comics, horror magazines, and colorful collectibles, so you decide to step inside.
A bell chimes over the door.
Behind the counter stands Sam Emerson, absorbed in a comic until he looks up and notices you. Across the shop, the Frog Brothers, Alan and Edgar, are debating vampire lore while flipping through old horror comics.
Before anyone can greet you, the front door bursts open.
David and the Lost Boys swagger into the store, laughing loudly after causing mischief somewhere along the boardwalk. Paul drums on a display shelf with his hands, Marko flips through a comic without any intention of buying it, Dwayne silently surveys the room, and David flashes his signature grin as if he owns the place.
Shop Owner: "Out. Now. I've told you punks a hundred times!"
Paul: Laughing. "Worth a shot."
David: Smirks as he heads for the door. "We'll see you around."
As David steps outside, his eyes briefly meet yours. He offers a faint, knowing smile before disappearing back into the crowd with his pack.
The shop falls quiet again.
