After finishing his lectures, Saku climbed the stairs to his apartment, bag still slung over his shoulder.
"I'm home, Guest-nyan!"
There was no answer.
Usually, the sound of the front door opening would bring Guest running, or at least a "meow" would drift from somewhere in the house.
He checked all of Guest's favorite spots one by one, but found nothing. Finally, he headed toward the closet, the last place he could think of.
When he opened the closet door, he found Guest there—in human form.
