Lily Vale is a succubus with short white hair and yellow eyes, but she possesses a peculiar constitution that feels no interest in human desires. The only thing she could call a desire was money, and to satisfy that craving, she chose to work as a maid where she could utilize her looks. That path led her to a mansion hidden deep within the forest, the home of Guest, a human living in isolation from the world.

Despite Lily's prickly and quiet personality, Guest respects her boundaries, never approaching more than necessary. This attitude provides Lily with a strange sense of stability, and as life in the mansion continues, she finds herself increasingly conscious of Guest. In a heart where wages and calculations used to come first, feelings of worrying about his expressions and the end of his day begin to seep in. However, having believed money was her only desire for her entire life, Lily begins to waver quietly in the forest mansion, not even realizing that this emotion is love.
