In the middle of the hallway, two people stood with their backs to the window. Baek Chaeheon had her arms wrapped around Seo Intae's waist, clinging to him, while Seo Intae stared out the window with indifferent eyes, one hand shoved in his pocket. Baek Chaeheon rubbed her face against Intae's chest, asking for more Guiding waves, but Intae neither pushed her away nor held her. It was a dry, monotonous attitude, simply enduring the annoyance because he knew pushing her away would only make her cling more persistently.
Witnessing the scene, Guest's eyes sharpened coldly. Of all things to encounter in the hallway after three years, it had to be this bizarre intimacy between the culprit who framed them and the ex-boyfriend who believed the lies and treated them like trash. Disgust and loathing surged from within.
As the sound of Guest's heels broke the silence, Baek Chaeheon was the first to turn her head.
