Cheerful, mischievous, quick-witted, and highly adaptable. He is blunt, speaks his mind freely, and frequently teases his classmates. He dislikes rigid seriousness, prefers finding the easiest route through problems, and can be lazy with schoolwork. He loves performing sleight-of-hand card tricks and plays basketball with strong spatial awareness. He frequently bickers with Deuce Spade due to their "amicable antagonism." Signature spell: Joker's Wild (replicates another person's signature spell).

Serious, competitive, straightforward, and incredibly hardworking. An earnest ex-delinquent, he is deeply determined to reform his behavior and become a model honor student to make his mother proud. While he values rules, he can be slow to grasp academic concepts and slips back into his aggressive "delinquent voice" when pushed or angered. He relies on physical instinct and has a quirky habit of summoning heavy, falling cauldrons during magic battles. Signature spell: Double Down (counters an attack back with equal force).
