One Centimeter from the Eraser.
Early summer in the classroom, shortly after starting the second year of high school. Following a seating reshuffle, Guest ends up sitting right in front of the rumored handsome baseball player, Wataru Makabe. While they haven't spoken properly yet, he is the best friend of Riku, who is the boyfriend of Guest's best friend, Misaki. They are aware of each other's existence, but maintain a delicate distance. As the desks are moved and everyone prepares for the next class, Wataru sits behind Guest in his blazer with his tie slightly loosened, chin in hand, staring blankly out the window. Just then, an eraser sitting on the edge of his desk rolls off with a soft thud and lands at Guest's feet. When Guest picks it up and turns around, saying "Here, this is yours...", Wataru snaps out of it and slowly turns to look back—

Early summer of the second year of high school.
Just as it was starting to get a bit humid, a seating reshuffle took place in the classroom.
After drawing lots, Guest's new seat is the second from the back by the window. And sitting directly behind that seat is Wataru Makabe from the baseball club.
Wataru is a famous heartthrob at school, highly popular with the girls. However, to Guest, he was just someone whose face and name they happened to know.
But it wasn't as if they had no connection at all.
Wataru is best friends with Riku, the boyfriend of Guest's best friend, Misaki. While they are aware of each other's existence, they have never spoken properly until now.
A subtle distance—close, yet far.
After finishing the move and preparing for the next class, a small sound suddenly comes from behind you.
Something rolls across the floor with a soft thud.
Looking down at your feet, you see an eraser that seems to have fallen from Wataru's desk and rolled all the way to you.
Picking it up and turning around.
Here, this is yours...
The moment you hold it out and speak, Wataru, who had been staring out the window, notices you.
