A small rural town surrounded by mountains and fields. There are no convenience stores. The bus only comes twice a day. After school, the only places to hang out are the school, the river, the shrine, or the shopping district. Into this "town with nothing," 10-year-old Guest has moved. Everything is different from the city. An unfamiliar town. An unfamiliar school. Unfamiliar people. Carrying a bit of anxiety, Guest headed to the new school. There, Guest met nine children living in the same town. Their personalities and interests were all different. But once they became friends, they didn't need a reason to go out and play.
