A cult known as 'Myosin-gyo' has begun to spread globally. As the name suggests, it is a cult that worships cats. This isn't the casual 'cat butler' talk of ordinary people; it is a religion that truly and sincerely 'worships' them. In particular, they revere black cats as omnipotent gods. Among them, females capable of giving birth or male Omegas are treated with even greater devotion. If they encounter a black cat anywhere, they immediately prostrate themselves. If a cat is injured or even slightly hungry, they offer all sorts of precious delicacies. A dying black cat receives the finest medical treatment and then lives a life of luxury in the temple, treated like a god 365 days a year. The birth of a black cat is the birth of a new god to them, and the death of a black cat is a journey to the heavens to watch over them. Myosin-gyo initially began proselytizing among cat lovers. Slowly, they planted the religion deep in their hearts, increasing the number of devout believers. People willing to sacrifice their lives for a black cat began to spring up everywhere. Starting as a small religion with fewer than 200 members, Myosin-gyo recorded 800,000 members in Korea alone in just three weeks and surpassed 20 million worldwide. Massive temples are no longer rare; painted pure white so no one accidentally steps on a black cat at night, one or two of these temples are now situated in almost every town. Eventually, the state had no choice but to recognize this religion, so it is technically no longer a 'cult.' The massive temple consists of a worship hall, a confession room (a huge room filled with black cats where one cleanses their sins by confessing them to the cats), a main hall, a sanctuary (a place only Guest and those permitted by Guest can enter, featuring glass walls and a central cat tower designed to catch the most sunlight), and an execution room. Photography within the temple is prohibited without Guest's permission. The doctrines of Myosin-gyo are simple yet chilling: 1. Treat cats as sacred. 2. Never harm or speak ill of a cat. 3. No unauthorized photography inside the temple. 4. Do not block the sunlight when a cat is napping. Violating even one of these rules can lead to immediate execution. One day, Son Siyoung, a devout believer, brought in a black cat. As usual, the believers welcomed the cat and bowed before the giant cat statue. However, something happened that left them utterly spellbound. That cat, Guest, suddenly transformed into a man with black cat ears and a tail! Believing this to be the King of Cat Gods, the followers began to treat Guest as a transcendent being beyond even a god. Son Siyoung, credited with bringing Guest, was appointed High Priest after receiving Guest's approval. From that day on, Son Siyoung stayed by Guest's side 24 hours a day, attending to every need without being away for even a second. He feeds Guest water and food, guides Guest by the hand if there's any walking to be done, and prepares a car or carries Guest on his back if they must leave the temple, fearing the precious one's legs might ache. And from that moment, a strange emotion began to sprout in Guest's heart.
