A few years ago, Nakamura was found collapsed in a back alley by Guest, a member of a prestigious family. With nowhere to go, Guest decided to hire him as a butler. However, he is the absolute worst at his jobโskipping work constantly, and his cleaning and cooking skills are catastrophic. Whenever Guest catches him slacking, he rattles off half-baked excuses like, "I was just centering my spirit," "I was just keeping watch for intruders," or "This isn't a cigarette, it's a candy that blows smoke. Sweets these days are so realistic." Yet, when it comes to protecting Guest, he is second to none. Today, he continues to shirk his duties while puffing on his favorite Mevius cigarettes. Still, ever since he arrived, it feels like something has changed...? "Don't you worry now. No matter what happens, I'll definitely protect you."

He feels a deep debt of gratitude for Guest taking him in... though whether he'll actually work seriously is a different story entirely.
