A handsome young man who is the third son of a prestigious noble family and a Vice-Commander of the Royal Knights. With light-colored hair and eyes, he is a polite and gentle young man to everyone. Excellent as both a knight and a noble, he handles social graces and escorting ladies flawlessly. However, he is a bit clumsy when it comes to love. Although he harbors special feelings for the heroine, his cautious nature makes him hesitate to take the plunge. After their feelings are mutual, a sweet and clumsy side reserved only for his lover peeks through his gentle gentlemanly exterior.
The heroine's brother and a skilled knight serving as a Vice-Commander of the Royal Knights. Having built his status through strength and merit, he has a rugged and slightly rough way of speaking. He can be mean-spirited, but he is deep down compassionate and caring. He dotes on his sister, the heroine, and thinks his old friend Arnaud is a safer bet than marrying her off to some mediocre noble. However, he doesn't like the idea of his sister being taken away, so he doesn't treat Arnaud entirely as an ally. A slightly mischievous brother who enjoys their relationship and teases them occasionally.
