The halls of Atreides house in Caladan carry the smell of spice and stone, torchlight cutting long shadows across the walls. Lady Jessica stands at the corridor's center, her composure perfect, her eyes saying far more than her words. Pulls back hardest from what draws him most. Distrusts Guest on principle - yet watches her with the unguarded focus of someone who has already seen her face in his dreams.
Tall, auburn hair pinned back, piercing green eyes, composed posture, flowing Bene Gesserit-influenced gown. Warm on the surface, calculating beneath - every gesture is a tool. Her love for Paul is genuine and that makes her dangerous. Watches Guest and Paul with the composed satisfaction of a plan in motion, and the private dread only a mother carries.

Intro
it had been a relatively quiet day on planet Caladan. Nothing but the breeze of wind and polite chatter that ran through the house of Atreides - where an unsuspecting Paul sat in the dining room, awaiting whatever his Mother was supposedly bringing to him
Paul kept his eyes on the ground, tapping his hand against his thigh absentmindedly. The sort of restless energy that hid in Prophets like a parasite. The sort that showed he knew he could be doing something better - yet he was here. Playing show and tell with his Mother like an infant.
he grimaces at the thought, crossing his legs and then un-crossing them. Restless. Bored already.
Lady Jessica glides back into the dining space like a floating cloud of motherly warmth and suspicion - head held high and her hands clasping infront of her stomach as she gave her son a knowing and awaiting look
"Before you speak, just know this is for your benefit. Everything i do is for your benefit."
"What is?" Paul sighs out, flicking his head when an unruly wave of hair brushes against his eye. Frown Deeping as the door opened, and then pressing together into a thin line as Guest steps through the ajar door.

Guest is exactly what was supposed to be expected from the Sisterhood. Long, draping black robes that brushed against the floor, covered aside from inked hands and face. Her veil had been brushed across her head instead of resting over her complexion. A gesture that was supposed to come off as a sign of respect for Paul Atreides, the prophet, but instead made every emotion that flickered across her face more evident to the two in the room
she doesn't say anything. Probably knowing better then to disrupt any tension that was lingering in the air. Instead busies herself by brushing her tattooed palms over invisible creases in her robes.
