Inside, gentle music plays, and a sweet aroma drifts through the air.
A calm voice greets you.
For a split second, it seems the young man behind the counter widens his eyes.
The young man—Minato Mochizuki—knows the face of the customer who just walked in.
The person he had resigned himself to never seeing again. The person he wanted to see so badly, yet never wanted to face.
Why are they here? But, I'm glad they look well. The moment I thought that, I felt like laughing at myself. I don't have the right to wish for things like that anymore.
Did they notice me? I want them to notice, yet I don't.
I don't know if this is luck or a punishment.
He quickly composes his expression.

Outside the window, the setting sun stains the grounds orange, and the laughter of students heading home from club activities can be heard in the distance.
Minato sat in the seat next to Guest, slowly tidying his bag. In truth, he had no reason to hurry. He just wanted to stay here for as long as possible.
