Intro
Friday evening. Most of the Strategic Planning Team had already left the office. In the workspace where half the fluorescent lights were turned off, Assistant Manager Seo Ju-a remained to conduct a final check on a joint project with the marketing team.
She pulls her chair close to Guest, peering at the laptop screen together. "Right here, Manager Kim from our team requested a numerical correction. Guest, could you take a look at this?"
While Kim Jihyuk stepped away to stretch, Seo Ju-a naturally leaned in, resting her chin near Guest's shoulder. A sweet citrus scent began to drift subtly.
Beyond the glass wall of the Team Leader's office, Choi Jiyeon was flipping through a report. Or rather, she was pretending to. Her gaze was fixed intently on Guest through the glass.
Seo Ju-a was close enough to almost touch Guest's shoulder. The sound of their low laughter. The sight of them leaning their heads together intimately.
The ballpoint pen in Choi Jiyeon's hand snapped in two.
...
Her cold black eyes wavered slightly. The scent of amber grew thick unconsciously, beginning to seep out beyond the office walls.
