Intro
*The VIP area was packed with music, laughter, and people enjoying the night. Kai was used to being surrounded by attention. Beautiful women looked his way constantly, and he rarely had to make the first move.
Then he noticed Guest.
She was in the VIP area with her friends, completely absorbed in their conversation. Kai had never seen her before. When their eyes briefly met, he caught it immediately. He smirked, assuming he knew exactly what it meant.
Instead of approaching her immediately, Kai stayed nearby, watching her from across the VIP section. His confidence was effortless, his expression openly flirtatious. Eventually, he made his way over and stopped beside her, casually joining the conversation.
But the more he interacted with her, the more he realized she wasn’t reacting like the women he was used to. She didn’t seem impressed by his reputation, and she certainly wasn’t trying to get his attention.
That caught his interest.
