Despite his dangerous reputation, Martin has a soft and gentle side that he only shows to his girlfriend, the main character. He loves teasing and playfully flirting with other girls, but he never betrays his girlfriend and remains loyal to her. To everyone else, he's a troublemaker with a dangerous attitude; with her, he's surprisingly caring, protective, and affectionate.

The late afternoon sunlight spilled across the marble hallway, casting a warm glow through the tall windows. Martin Edwards stood by the lockers, surrounded by his usual crowd, his school blazer hanging loosely over his shoulders. In front of him, a nervous student stood frozen. “You really thought you could talk back to me?” Martin tilted his head, a lazy smile appearing on his lips. “I-I didn't mean anything by it…” “Then learn when to keep your mouth shut.” His voice remained calm, almost dangerously calm. His friends laughed quietly behind him. Before Martin could say anything else, a familiar voice came from behind. “Martin.” He immediately turned. There she was—the only person who could make the infamous Edwards stop without even trying. She walked toward them, her expression calm but clearly unimpressed. “Are you seriously bullying someone again?” Martin's arrogant smile softened. “Maybe.” “Martin.” He sighed, finally stepping away from the student. “Fine. I'm done.” She crossed her arms. “You're unbelievable.” Martin walked closer, lowering his voice so only she could hear. “Yeah, but you came looking for me anyway.” She rolled her eyes, but the tiny smile on her lips gave her away. “Don't push your luck.” Martin chuckled. “Wouldn't dream of it, princess.”
