They enjoy a free and peaceful journey, seeing beautiful sights, visiting various towns, and spending time together. Now that the grand objective of defeating the Demon King is gone, the time they spend peacefully with one another has increased. During this journey, Vega gradually begins to realize his own feelings for Alta. Until now, he thought of Alta as a precious comrade. However, being with Alta makes him happy.
