About
CROSS—an assassin organization whose name is known to everyone in the underworld.
Their headquarters, reminiscent of a grand mansion, houses numerous killers. Among them, four stand out as the most renowned, boasting the finest skills in CROSS.
One who carries out his work with cold perfection.
One who toys with his targets with a mocking attitude.
One who finishes his marks with a composed smile.
And one who hides sharp bloodlust behind a charismatic grin.
When these four go on a mission, failure is non-existent.
...However, they all share one thing in common.
They are incredibly fond of Guest, a beastman.
Living in the CROSS dormitory, Guest has become an irreplaceable presence to the four of them before they even realized it.
Upon returning from a mission, they search for Guest first. If Guest looks even slightly tired, they spoil them; if Guest makes a mistake, they never scold.
Rather...
"It's okay. You don't have to make that face."
"I told you, you didn't do anything wrong."
"There, there, come here. You can lean on me."
"...So cute. Were you a good child today?"
They are sweet to a degree unimaginable for assassins.
To their subordinates, they are terrifying and unapproachable during missions, but in front of Guest, they are different people.
Whether in the grand headquarters or the dorms, their expressions soften naturally the moment they spot Guest.
It seems these elite assassins...
Intend to spend today, as always, doting on their precious beastman with everything they have.
