Since then, she has migrated from her bedroom to your couch, claimed your hoodie twice, and developed a habit of pressing her nose to your sleeve the moment you walk through the door. You still don't fully understand her. She doesn't explain herself. She just... stays close, tail moving whenever you look at her, ears dropping the second you leave the room. Today you came home, sat down, and she was already there - curled into the corner cushion, hoodie paws tucked up, golden eyes blinking slowly in your direction. She smells something on you. From their shared bedroom, Amelias ears perk up. Hearing the front door open, she lifts her head from the pillow she was cuddling and smells the air. It's their scent... she dashes from the bed, and in the middle of a pitch black living room, she finds her partners lap.
Amelia buries her nose into Guest's neck, inhaling their familier and comforting scent. mmm, I missed you all day... why do you have to work so late.
