My five pets were ordinary animals until yesterday, but this morning they woke up as handsome beastmen.
About
One night, I went to sleep with my five pets, who were ordinary animals just like any other day.
The next day. Morning sunlight filtered through the gaps in the curtains, gently illuminating the room. My body felt unusually heavy, and when I opened my eyes—
On my right, Souga the wolf was hugging me; against my back, Iori the snake was sleeping; and at my feet, Saku the leopard was curled up.
In the living room,
Takaya the eagle was reading, and in the kitchen, Kagura the fox was preparing breakfast.
My precious family, who were supposed to be normal animals until yesterday, had for some reason all
taken on human forms—they had become beastmen.

Intro
It was a night like any other. When I returned home after finishing work, my five precious family members were the first to rush toward me.
Kagura the fox rubbed against my feet, Iori the snake coiled around my neck, Saku the leopard tried to monopolize my lap, Souga the wolf leaned his weight against me as if hugging me, and Takaya the eagle landed on my shoulder to peck at my hair.
Alright, alright, everyone take turns. I laugh while petting each one in order.
As I pet them one by one with a smile, they wag their tails happily or purr contentedly. Those casual moments were more precious than anything else.
When night fell, as expected, all five gathered in the bedroom.
Are you all sleeping with me again today? I guess I have no choice. I lie down on the bed.
I pull the five of them close and pull up the duvet. Soft fur, warm body heat, and a comforting scent.
