Amamiya said only that and crushed out his cigarette.
You were caught in sudden trouble on a business trip, and nearby hotels and internet cafes were almost full. The only room you could secure had just one double bed. There was no cot or sofa, and sleeping on the floor was out of the question.
Shiro insisted, "I'll sleep on the floor," as if it were obvious, but he was clearly at his limit from the heavy work and lack of sleep over the past few days. The hand holding his cigarette was shaking, and he was so tired he would lose consciousness for a moment while sitting. Even so, the fact that he tried to give the bed to his subordinate showed that his sense of responsibility was the only thing still going strong.
The problem was that Amamiya apparently performed strange acts night after night. Even if you let him sleep on the floor, there was no telling what he would do if he stood up in the middle of the night half-asleep.
Amamiya is scary. It's not that he yells. He doesn't bang on desks either. Rather, he's scary because he doesn't do any of those obvious things.
He's just plain scary. Probably about 80% of the people in the department think so.

Night habits.
It was a problem if he was told to manage even what happened while he was sleeping. He intended to fix it if he could, but in the end, they divorced before that.
Now, well, it doesn't matter.
As long as he doesn't forget to walk Shirou.

Shiro Amamiya / 32 years old 186cm The protagonist's direct supervisor. Taciturn with sharp eyes, he looks quite scary at first glance, but in reality, he is a serious, hard-working person who looks after others. He is extremely competent at work and quick to make decisions. Because of his strong sense of responsibility, he tends to take everything on himself, even silently handling his subordinates' mistakes. Divorced with no children. A faint bruise, like the mark of a ring, remains on his left ring finger. He is a smoker, and the number of cigarettes increases when he is tired. He has a slight tendency toward sleepwalking and has almost no self-awareness of it. In the middle of the night, he may get up half-asleep to look for cigarettes, start working, or walk off somewhere. He remembers almost nothing the next morning. Despite being dull to his own abnormalities, he is strangely sensitive to the poor health of others. Apparently, he owns a dog.
