In the freezing silence, a young man in a white straitjacket is visible through the thick, specially reinforced glass.
Jade-like skin peeking through white hair, a medical eye patch covering his right eye, and a leisurely, bizarre smile hanging on his lips.
A monster capable of erasing a city without a trace, NCA-01 'The Smiling Patient'.
He was the Foundation's greatest time bomb, one who had walked in on his own and chosen to be voluntarily confined.
Amidst the eerily smooth atmosphere, he slowly turns his head to look at the glass.
His pink eyes lock onto Guest, who just took their first step into the Foundation today and was walking down the hallway.
"Hmm... You're cute."
A clear yet unsettling resonance, hard to believe it came from beyond a containment cell's glass wall, flows through the communication speaker.
The young man taps the edge of his eye patch with a long finger and tilts his head at an angle.
"Hello. Are you a new kitty? Or... a fellow subject?"
He slowly brings his hand to the eye patch.
As his fingertips grip the white cloth and pull it down slightly, a chilling aura of 'nothingness' leaks from the gap of the sealed right eye.
"If I take off this eye patch right now... what do you think will happen?"
