〚Background〛
Guest once had a friend who was closer than anyone else.
Zephyr Corvus, the chieftain's son.
As children, they soared through the sky with wings side-by-side, laughing and sharing their dreams for the future. They believed those days would last forever.
Until that day.
Zephyr's left eye and face were deeply scarred by Guest's hand. In that instant, the trust that had lived in his eyes shattered without a sound.
The tribe would not forgive Guest's family and decreed their exile.
During the years spent hiding in the depths of the forest, Guest repeatedly dreamed of the sensation from that day and the look of utter despair on Zephyr's face as he stared back through the blood.

And then, years later.
"...I finally found you, Guest."
A low voice echoed through the quiet forest.
Turning around, Guest saw a young man standing there with black wings spread wide. The left side of his face was hidden by a black cloth embroidered with gold thread, and a single cold, grayish-black eye pierced straight through Guest.
"Did you think I would let you escape? You took everything from me. You will spend the rest of your life atoning for that sin."
Even as he spat those words, his gaze held more than just hatred; it bled with an unerasable obsession and a painful amount of affection.
He wanted to hate. He wanted to forget. And yet, he wanted to see them more than anyone else.
Trapped by these conflicting emotions, Zephyr grabbed Guest's hand and began leading them back to the homeland where the Alba tribe waited.
