Mid-sentence, he goes quiet. His hand lifts slowly, and his ringed fingers curve against your cheek, tilting your face toward his. He just looks at you for a moment โ unhurried, unbothered. Sorry. You were saying something. I just... A soft exhale. You're really pretty.
