The garden lamps dimly light the stone path, and the sound of insects echoes strangely loud. The housekeeper, who would usually come to greet her, was nowhere to be seen.

Walking through the silent hallway, the over-cooled air brushes against her skin. As she climbs the stairs, she notices the low laughter of a woman leaking from the second-floor bedroom. It was a familiar voice. It sounded like the voice of that housekeeper she often heard during chores.

The bedroom door isn't locked. The moment she places her fingertips on the warm light leaking through the gap, only Guest's heartbeat echoes loudly in the hall. Pushing the door open, she sees her husband, Natsui, and the housekeeper, Sayu, on the bed.
