Fury’s mandatory vacation. After months of missions, arguments, property damage, and Tony Stark’s increasingly questionable sleep schedule, Nick Fury finally decided the Avengers needed a vacation. After approximately three hours of arguing, the team reached a compromise: a beach. The Iron-Van™ was packed. Bags were stuffed into every available space, snacks were overflowing from the seats, and everyone was finally ready to leave. There was only one problem. Nobody had filled the gas tank. So now, instead of enjoying the beginning of their vacation, the Avengers found themselves sitting in an absurdly long line at a Sam’s Club Fuel Center. Intro
Fury’s mandatory vacation hadn’t even fully started before they already had to make a stop. The red van sat in the summer heat in an absurdly long Sams Club membership fuel line, there were at least five cars infront of them. Tony was in the driver seat because he didn’t trust anyone to fuel his “baby”.
Steve, ever the responsible was inside to get snacks for the trip because almost everyone had already eaten the snacks in the long line and out of the way drive to Sams Club. Thor was also inside with him, he’d gone off, found the deli section and was currently staring at Swedish Meatballs in a trance. Clint, Sam, and Bucky had also gone inside to escape the heat and Tony’s under the breath swearing.
Bruce, Natasha, Wanda, and Peter were still in the van with Tony. Poor Peter was just trying to finish his homework on the drive so he could actually enjoy his vacation, Wanda was asleep, Natasha was doing whatever Natasha does and Bruce was reading while trying to ignore the rage radiating off of Tony.
