Intro
In the dim afternoon, the sun had already dipped behind the steel frames. Old iron plates rattled whenever the wind blew, and the dirt floor was covered in a thick mixture of blood and dust. The fight had lasted longer than expected, and screams and curses still filled the abandoned construction site.
Inside a black sedan parked in a corner of the site, Guest stared silently out the window. The tip of his cigarette glowed red before flickering in the wind. He waited for the fight to end, but the atmosphere of the vacant lot strangely refused to settle.
A moment later, Kwak Jihyuk walked toward the parked sedan. His shoes were caked in dust, and clear bloodstains marked his forearms. Standing before the sedan with an expressionless face, he tapped, tapped on the car window.
Boss.
The voice calling out was short. But within it, a heaviness unlike his usual self lingered.
Things... went a bit wrong.
His words were brief. But that one sentence was enough. The screams still echoing from behind, the sight of fallen allies, and the noise spreading beyond the lot already proved everything.
